Imagine a road trip across the endless golden fields under an expansive blue sky, a TCS truck gliding along, as much a part of the landscape as the wind turbines towering in the distance. It’s a scene that’s both timeless and forward-looking. The vintage ’60s vibe of the paper texture meets the modernity of clean energy, a nod to a future where tradition and innovation coexist.
In crafting this piece, my aim was to strike a balance—paying homage to the legacy of print with a risograph-inspired aesthetic, while keeping my finger on the pulse of digital artistry. It’s a visual dialectic, where the dialogue between the art and the viewer is as much about the journey as it is about the destination. This poster is a conversation piece, a slice of Canadiana that tells a story of connectivity and sustainable ambitions.

Moving from the golden fields to the vibrant pulse of the city, the second piece in the TCS series captures the essence of Toronto’s bustling port. It’s a place where the mechanical and the natural, the urban and the serene, share a delicate dance. The skyline, with the iconic CN Tower piercing the horizon, stands as a silent guardian over a sea of containers – each a story, a journey, a promise of delivery fulfilled.

This poster is all about connections, about the places we’re rooted and the spaces we reach out to. It’s a visual haiku, celebrating the complex choreography of logistics against the simplicity of a city’s silhouette. There’s a rhythm here, in the arrangement of the containers, the lines of the docks, a rhythm that hums with the life of a city that’s always on the move.
I chose colors that sing of dawn or dusk – those magic hours when the world is awash with potential. The shadows play a game of contrast, not just to bring depth to the scene, but to remind us that in the dance of light and dark, it’s the light that tells the story.

In this composition, I wanted to harness the stillness of the coastal cliffs, the gentle dance of the sailboat, and the silent strength of the lighthouse – each element a chapter in the odyssey of trade and travel. The artwork is drenched in the deep blues and greens of the maritime palette, colors that speak of depth and discovery, of the eternal dialogue between the sea and sky.
This poster is a hymn to the mariners’ spirit that TCS embodies, a testament to the seamless journey from the heart of the land to the soul of the sea.
